Ruth was born in Bielefeld in 1988. She currently studies tuba at the Folkwang Conservatory in Essen with Ullrich Haas.
Ruth is a quite experienced chamber musucian. She played a lot of concerts as a soloist as well as a member of several chamber music ensembles.
Furthermore she gained experience in orchesteras like: Youth Orchestra OWL, the Youth Symphony Orchestra of NRW, the Youth Symphony Orchestera of Bremen, the Rhein-Ruhr Philharmonics, the Young Orchestra of NRW, the free Orchestra of Bielefeld, the North West Philharmonic, the Bochum Symphony Orchestra and the Duisburg Philharmonics.
Ruth won different competitions, like the most important national competition in Germany for young people ”Jugend musiziert” in 2005.
